Becoming a Mother - Being a Mother
A space for sharing, connection, and mutual understanding
Becoming a mother is a special phase of life that brings about many changes. Alongside beautiful and fulfilling moments, there may also be challenges, doubts, or questions that weigh on our minds—then as now.
At the storytelling café “Becoming a Mother—Being a Mother,” we come together in an open and supportive discussion group. We listen to one another, share our experiences, and talk about what it was like for us to become mothers and how we’re doing as mothers today.
Here, there’s space for personal stories, diverse experiences, and honest conversation—without judgment and without the pressure to have all the answers.
Babies are very welcome and, of course, you’re welcome to bring them along. For older children, we ask that you arrange alternative childcare so that you can fully engage in the conversations.
The storytelling café is facilitated by Hanne Voget-Berkenkamp, a certified educator and parenting class instructor.
We look forward to seeing you and to an open, lively exchange!
