The bonding-oriented birth preparation course is aimed at mothers and their children aged between approx. 3 and 8 years who will have a sibling in the coming weeks or months. 
The course includes one session on Friday for the pregnant women (without children) and one session on Saturday for the expectant siblings accompanied by their mothers. The course includes all craft materials and drinks.  
We will talk in small groups about how you can bring your current pregnancy closer to your big child and how you can prepare for the birth and postpartum so that the start of the “new” family life goes well. We will also look together at challenging situations and behaviors that can often occur in the first year.  
The course is designed to strengthen you in recognizing the needs of your big child and to help you find your way more easily in dealing with the new sibling constellation - between great love and deep crisis. In between, there will be gentle movement and relaxation exercises and, of course, breaks and drinks. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring slippers or warm socks.

We continue on Saturday together with the children: we sing and there is a playful story about birth adapted to the age of the children. It's also about what babies can do and need. In between, there will of course be breaks and movement games. If you and your child feel like it, your child can finish by painting your round baby bump with child- and “belly-friendly” colors.  

Participation is recommended from the 20th week of pregnancy. Ideally, the child already has a connection to the baby, e.g. the baby bump is visible.
